Barely Buzzed from Beehive

Barely Buzzed is another of our favorite American cheeses. This cheese is created in Utah by the family-owned and operated Beehive Cheese Company. It’s a very special cheese – an American original –  and has become a firm favorite with our customers. We’re not surprised!

The cheese begins with creamy Jersey milk. This produces a creamy cheese but yet it’s full bodied with surprising flavors.

Beehive then uses a special blend of coffee beans which are made exclusively for them by Colorado Legacy Fine Coffees. This is ground and mixed with French lavender buds and suspended in oil to create the rub for the cheese.

It’s hardly surprising that this cheese has won numerous awards.

Beehive recommends that Barely Buzzed is a great cheese to pair with toasted nuts, charcuterie, fresh fruit or … chocolate. Now that is something we have to try!
